Fermer Participates in NY Battery & Energy Tech. Consortium

April 27th, 2009

Fermer Precision's capabilities were presented at the April 20th, 2009 "New York Battery & Energy Technology Consortium"(NY BEST) held in Albany, NY last week for companies and universities involved involved in the research, development, testing and manufacture of components and systems used in plug-in hybrid and all-electric vehicles. The program was sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).

In early 2009, Fermer noted in a letter to representatives of New York State Governor Paterson that its extensive experience and involvement in the manufacturing of power transmission and emission control devices were well-aligned with the Governor's "45 x 15" initiative to position the state as a visible leader in hybrid related vehicle technologies.
