Fermer Precision company officials announced today that it has been selected to jointly produce a newly developed line of components for Rockland Standard Gear, Inc., of Sloatsburg, NY. (www.rsgear.com)

Rockland Standard, through its trademarked "Tranzilla" product line, supplies stock automotive, high-performance and racing components used in Grand Am Koni Challenge, Grand Am Rolex Series, Speed World Challenge, SCCA, NHRA, NMRA, European and Asian GT, and other racing car events around the world.

Rockland company president, Mike Weinberg, an internationally accredited writer and expert on vehicle dynamics, is also a professional race driver currently competing in the Grand American Race Series road racing division of NASCAR.

Fermer Vice-President of Operations Mark Cushman attributed the company being selected for the project to its 20 year plus experience, state-of-the-art equipment, and expert reputation in providing high-quality machined components to the automotive, emission control and aerospace industries.

Rockland plans to begin its world-wide marketing campaign for these products in 2010.
